As many of you will be aware, the Health Unlocked App for IOS has now been discontinued and it’s likely that your app will stop working soon. Most of us have been using or starting to use the web-based browser version, and you should have received an email with following information. Hopefully the transition to the browser version will be as smooth as it can be. For all who have grown to like the app more than the browser version, please do stay with us, and we’ll try to support you as best as we can in this transition.

Just in case people were not aware, the HU app is no longer available:

I am reaching out to you as we wanted to let you know that from THIS Friday (24/09/2021), the app will no longer be available. Instead, we will focus solely on an enhanced web experience.

As it stands, the app has been falling back compared to the website, with many missing and underperforming features (e.g. bugs).

We want all our members to have the FULL HealthUnlocked experience! Below you will find some tips for this transition that you can share with your community:

Tips for this transition

For quick access, save our website on your iPhone home screen (it will look like an app icon): support.healthunlocked.com/...

To avoid having to login in every visit, make sure your browser settings allow for login information to be saved:

support.healthunlocked.com/...

To replace the push notifications from the iOS app, please review your email notification preferences: support.healthunlocked.com/...

What will you gain?

•More features

As our app has many missing features, you will have access to more advanced features.

•Quicker access to new features

By focusing on an enhanced web experience, we will be able to deliver improvements to the site more rapidly.

•Better mobile experience

Our website is more mobile-friendly allowing our members more flexibility in how they perform tasks and navigate.

•Broader accessibility

It is instantly accessible via a browser across a range of devices and browsers.

Will HealthUnlocked never have an app again?

It does not mean we will never again have a native app (iOS or Android). That continues to be a possibility for the future.

If you have any further questions or need more help with the transition to the website, please do get back to me.

Thank you for being a valued part of the HealthUnlocked platform.

All the best,

Saskia Church
