I’m 2weeks into struggling with my fractured shoulder &Ive come to realise how useful my practiced squats are. The simplest movements that we take for granted that at the moment are proving so difficult such as getting in &out of chairs, bed & the bathroom, are helped with squatting movements.
So there we are s&f has come in very useful in a way I didn’t even consider that I would ever need.

Go you.. I do them when I am cleaning my teeth or standing waiting for the kettle to boil! Small runner in training and I do them together to when we have a little fun work out on the days when I care for her
She is far more supple than I !
I am going to be putting some exercises for feet and ankles up tomorrow!!!
How funny, never thought I’d need chair exercises. My husband volunteers with a class once a week, but that tends to be more throwing balls & that sort of thing. I’ll look forward to that tomorrow 👣 😊
When I donated the kidney I had done lots of core work to get ready and the day after the op I was worried about using the stomach muscles they had cut through and my surgeon said because I was strong all around the incision my recovery would be easier because I could rely on all the other surrounding muscles to do the work. The body really is amazing the way it compensates when it has stuff to deal with. Take very good care of yourself and speedy recovery. Rfc. Xxxx
I was thinking about what exercises don’t put stresses through the upper back and shoulders, and it was a very short list indeed... squats! I forgot about them... I always try to forget about them 🤣
Nice to read that some S&F is making things a little easier with that injury.
