So, today’s prescribed workout on my running plan has a warmup that is entirely a 40 second wall sit! After that it’s some gentle dynamic stretches and yoga... just hope I can do the warmup!!!

I am sure you can do the warm-up wall sit UnfitNoMore, I have just done that with a Youtube Video by Fitnessblender, the video lasts 29 seconds by I did manage 40 seconds up against my living room wall.

I'll be very honest with you Bluebirdrunner, I thought that as well then I remembered at the back of my mind something to do with 'sitting on a wall' was something to do with yoga, I Googled 'wall sit' an there was this Youtube video from Fitnessblender showing exactly what wall sit is, if you want to try it out the video lasts 29 seconds but the challenge was for to do the wall sit for 40 seconds, I just managed to do that against my living room wall.

😮 Just tried the wall sit. I managed 30 seconds - just. Another exercise I can do at work in between jobs though - so thanks UNM - I’ll keep trying.
