Strength & Flex

Getting there!!

I'm on run 1 of Week 5 C25K and thoroughly enjoying it. I've never been a runner as an adult, although I liked distance running at high school, and deciding to try C25K has been a real eye opener. I would never have thought that I could run as far as I am now or for as long! I am going to use the Strength & Flex to try and loosen my old joints a bit and try to reduce the likelihood of injuring myself ;-D

Since you are enjoying it (the C25K training) and you liked distance running in high school, why not look around for some athletics competitions in the Masters category? Check it out and see how much more enjoyment you can get.

Masters ages start at 35 years old and go up in 5 year categories (so a 75 year old is not competing against a 35 year old).
