I have been having lots of knee pain, mainly when I go from either standing to sitting, or vice versa. I was considering a cortisone shot. Any have any knowledge or has had one, and willing to share their experience?

Hello. Thank you for reaching out. I have had a cortisone shot but not for knee pain. It helped tremendously but not recommended as a long-term solution for me. You may want to ask your primary care doctor about your particular symptoms and the most effective way to address. Best wishes.

Hi,
Thanks for joining the group. There are many people that are interested in your question, so thanks again. Have you spoken about the options with your primary care doctor? And, there are several options depending on the cause, location, and level of pain. Options vary from light exercise to oral medications (anti-inflammatories) to injections to surgery. Let us know as you are doing.
