I just bought a BIG box of the disposable hand and foot warmers. And I got my special gloves in the mail that have the puches to hold them! So all set here too. But heres hoping it is a mild winter.

Saw the lighter fuel ones yesterday for the first time & wondered how good they are. How do they work?

I've used the alsorts but find the charcoal ones last the longest but boy do they smell!

Hi guys, There is a company called Heat Bands that are not fueled, you get a package of 20 pairs or so and you wrap them around your wrist and they velcro fasten. They amplify the heat that is in your wrist area and keep your hands warmer. They do help.Good Luck!

Hello fellow sufferers, The lighter fuel ones are really good, I found that the red and silver cased one the easiest to fill. They are about as big as a mobile phone.

Found mine on the Internets, just tap in hand warmers, it came from a sports shop. All depends how much you use it ,but a tin of fuel last for quite along time, they come in a little case, they can get very hot. Yes the charcoal ones do smell, like your being kippered. think I paid about £30, worth every penny

Keep smiling

I have found the above, It,s the s-boston pocket hand warmer. £29. 95+£1.90 p&p. E-Bay. Just enter petrol hand warmers, they are about half way down the page. Hope this is helpful.

Hi all! I have a Zippo hand warmer that is excellent. You fill it with lighter fluid and it can last for up to 12 hours and really works! You can get them from ebay or google Zippo hand warmer, I paid less than £20 for it and it is really good! Hope you're all surviving the colder weather! :-)
