I have very painful middle finger joint in one hand and painful thumb joint in the other hand. My finger and thumb lock at times and then pop free. My rheumatologist has recommended that i get steriod injections into the joints. I wondered whether anyone else has had these injection into their hands? How successful have they been?

this is good to hear. I'm sure at some point I will need these injections. Hands, fingers and wrists seem to be getting more painful
