What do you use to stimulate circulation in hands and feet?

Mostly what I have heard and also use in my own circumstance is cardio exercise...anything that gets your heart rate up will boost blood circulation. It helps me a LOT! Plus you get the benefits of being healthy as well. I have Berger's Disease and Raynaud's..exercise is a lifesaver for me.

I have knee problems & lots of pain unless I take NSAIDs & I prefer not to take NSAIDs. I am currently taking Niacin & it seems to help, but I was looking for alternatives. Thanks for your suggestion. I am trying to do more exercise to improve my physical condition. Thanks spud676.

The wax hand bath is excellent. I use it every time before embarking on activities such as handling fruit, unpacking shopping. or even getting in the shower all of which would normally make me ' lose my fingers'.

Meadowsweet is good, as is ginger and many other herbs. x

Niacin works well as a vasodilator; and I def agree with the exercise, but check with a physical therapist or trainer, so as to not aggravate ur knee pain!

I am definitely going to try the increased exercise. We have an elyptical & it is pretty easy on joints. The niacin is doing wonders.

I also have knee problems that are getting worse everyday unfortunatly but yes the elliptical is a great machine that wont kill you joints too much..I just purchased one myself and its helping bunches. Good luck in your journey.

Exercise is automatically a remedy for blood circulation, however, before taking on any exercise regimen, it is usually advised that you check with your doctor; a fitness trainer should be able to advise you, as well as Wellness Programs at Hospitals may also be a good source. My conditions were diagnosed in 2008, however, I started the New Year of 1981 with a health lifetime plan, and have been exercise ever since. I've had to alter some moves, decrease levels with certain exercises, but it has aided me a lot - and I certainly am not near the age that I was in 81. :-) I have also used an electric wand style massager since the late 80s. My budget won't allow professional full body massages these days, but I strongly recommend them as a stress reducing practice, enhances blood circulation . . . and yoga helps with internal organ massaging, flushing out toxins and helping one to be more flexible. I also take Vitamin E and D in addition to my multi-vitamin which helps as well. Wishing you better comfort, Jean15, and remedies for helping you with circulation improvement. GOD bless you.

Thanks so much for the good suggestions. I am deeply grateful to you and all the others who have given me the good advice grown out of their experience. With this disease we all fly by the seat of our pants and input from those who have been through this and are going through it is invaluable.

I suffer congestive heart failure which put strain on my heart to work harder to help pump the blood around my body. So with now having raynauds as well causing curculation problems. Its extra strain again on my heart so to do excercise wud be just adding more strain and stress. So I have to suffer to be honest. Well apart from light foot hand movements to try help. And I have my hand and foot warmers constantly to stop them gettin even a bit cold. Night mare but im still alive. Main thing.. X
