I don't need mine all of the time but I also love my electric blanket. I am moving in with my partner at the end of this week so I won't have one anymore then :-( However as I seem to vary from being freezing to being too hot I should be ok I think. He says I am like a hot water bottle in bed. Winter might be a different thing though.........

Emma, You can get some that are adjustable on each side, so you can have it warm and toasty and he can have his off, or there are the ones that go under the sheets and heat only one side.

I am the same at producing heat when I sleep, have always done since I was a baby. Snuggling is a brief thing for me and my husband as I drive him off with the heat LOL.

I have a single blanket on my side - my hubby does not like it he likes to get into a cold bed but having it on one side helps. My hubby always says I am very hot at night as well. Strange .......
