I'd have thought they would, As they're all autoimmune disorders ,are they not?? I'm no expert though, but all the conditions that I do know of ,certainly are.

no they dont. Hypothyroidism is dealt with by an endocrinologist, autoimmune hepatitis by a hepatologist, crohns disease by gastroenterologist etc etc

yes, but only a good one. mine has been doing this for 37 years, he was an instructor at the Cleveland Clinic and John Hopkins. he also has residents come in at train side by side with him. he is bulgarian and it took me some time to adjust to him ( verbaly) but he is wonderfull. you can google any doctor and see their track record. you can also call your local medical university to get a list of the ones that specialize in conected tissue disorders ( Raynauds). do give up! it is very important to find a doctor that can treat you correctly!!! you will pay more for a office visit, but it is well worth it. Bless Us All.....for we have long roads ahead of us, till a cure is found......

No they don't, I had been seeing a specialist and/or other doctors under her supervision at my local hospital until she moved on: then there was "only" a rheumatologist with an INTEREST in the soft connective tissue diseases who could not even talk through the latest results of my lung function tests. When I asked he said that my lungs were "fine" - I know that they are not, and all I wanted was his interpretation of the latest results!! But that was the straw that broke the camel's back and I asked my GP if she would refer me to a hospital that did have a specialist. She did, and I am SO glad that I asked.
