I'm curious...does anyone have any thoughts on immune boosting supplements when we have overactive immune systems? My father sadly passed away in September and with lack of sleep, I decided to start taking Revive Active. I often develop chest infections when over tired so I was trying to prevent this. I've now taken one every single day since then and suddenly I've thought maybe I need to stimulate my immune system less!
I'm sure I'm overthinking this!😵💫

Thanks all! 😀

Sorry about the loss of your father. It takes a long time to recover sleep and general wellbeing after loss of a parent I found. However I’m afraid you aren’t overthinking this. I was told by my first rheumatologist to avoid any supplements that boost the immune system because mine is so overactive already and immune boosters give our systems more weapons with which to attack us. Maybe try some talking therapy or listen to absorbing and relaxing audio books or radio podcasts quietly when the insomnia hits? Take care and just try and go with the flow where possible - grieving is a natural process we all have to go through so sleep will come when it comes
I lost my mum suddenly last summer and my dad a few years ago. It has been an aweful time.
I'm trying to concentrate on good food and rest.
I have withdeawn a bit but have found quiet folk to be with when I socialise. One group that meets, lots been through similar things with loss of those that are close and / or their own health. We chat whilst colouring in posters, doIng jigsaws and chatting about quiz sheets. Sometimes there are no words..but we look at each other and know we share something. We don't need to say much..people understand.
Sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad.
Take care. Get lots of rest.
I suffered after trying an Advent calendar with different teas in. Below is link to what I posted on Lupus forum ( may need to be member to see though🤔)..
