Covid boosters for those with a weakened immune system

Does anyone know when those of us with a weakened immune system should go for their next booster? I had a fourth - booster jab in February after the three primary doses and they said at the time get another in six months but have heard nothing since. Has anyone in the UK heard anything?

Hi, I contacted NHS inform 2 days ago asking the same thing. Was informed that its frontline staff first and the elderly. He has emailed my health board for confirmation, so it looks like a waiting game for the moment

i had my 5th in March. I have booked my 6th for next week. You can do it on NHS app without waiting to be invited.

I take it you're in England? I asked them when I was on the phone and was informed that unless I had my letter with an appointment date then I would be turned away. Im in Scotland

Hi Milkmaid.

You can book one now via the NHS website. I had mine yesterday. Any one over 50 can too.

Good luck

I received a letter from my consultant telling me I was eligible and to take it to my local centre. Going to do this this week or book online!

I was told people with health issues should NOT take the booster as it is highly inflammatory. I think the previous thought was the opposite. But it causes inflammation then I wouldn't want it if something is already wrong.
