Has anyone found any relief for tinnitus. I lost some of my hearing a while ago and have been provided with hearing aids and believe this is all scleroderma related. However, my ears are so blocked and pulsate causing pain and noise. Anyone find anything that helps?

I have had pulsating tinnitus for many years and I have one hearing aid as my hearing loss is only mild, but I do find wearing it cuts down on the noise in quiet situations, I find noisy situations very difficult. The idea apparently is to give your brain something else to concentrate on. Not sure if it is anything to do with Scleroderma. Worth asking about.

My daughter has had constant tinnitus and hearing loss since childhood. Over the years she's had relief from it by having grommets inserted to equalise the pressure in her middle ears. As soon as they come out the deafness and tinnitus return. She's 45 and the last grommets have been in place for 8 years, but recently fell out. I don't know if you could find an ENT surgeon who does this. Good luck.

I had one grommet inserted a year ago. But the ear without the grommet has gone complete deaf. I’ve been given some drops today. I’ll see what that does. Thanks
