I am too sick for my Sclero just to be local Morphea. My "sign of the sabre" is growing every few days, and haved at least 3 other areas on my scalp. My GP is finally onboard now, he has only seen SCLERO once in his working career. DERMO is a 3 month wait privately where i live. Am going to see a GP/skin doctor at the Dermo clinic next week i guess he can do a couple of skin biopsies, but its pretty clear what I have. Scalp not as painful and this also usually makes me feel a bit better.

Does MCOPHENOLATE/CELLCEPT stop these areas from growing ?

I had a few lesions on my chest before I was eventually diagnosed. A couple are the size of a 2 pence piece but too painful as long as I don’t scratch. They stopped getting any bigger once I was on Mycophenolate but I don’t know if that was a coincidence.

CLANGER, I think your spot on here, MYCO main function is to reduce the the fibrosis so lesions should get better. Info also says it reduces the general inflammation as well. How long did you take MYCO for before you saw some positive results ?

Unfortunately I had to stop it after about 6 months as my rheumatologist thought a facial rash I had was a reaction to it. He was however pleased with the progress I had made while on it. My earlier post was supposed to say “ not to painful unless I scratch” sorry about that!
