aplastic anemia

Hello, I have got to know a lady in her early 70s who also has Scleroderma.

She has aplastic anemia. She has 3 bags of blood per week, her number can go down to 44!!!!

Her doctors are struggling to work out how to improve this condition.

A number tips of her fingers which have turned black have been amputated, If they heal the specialists are want to wipe out her immune system with chemo and hope that her system can reset to produce red cells.

Has anyone have this problem?

there’s a FB group called UK HSCT for MS and autoimmune diseases. It is primarily for this kind of treatment. Might be worth a look.
