Hello 1odthI had the Pfizer vaccine last week. I have scleroderma, systemic sclerosis, Raynaud's etc. and I've been fine - no sides effect other than my arm was a tiny bit uncomfortable afterwards, but nothing to worry about and I didn't even feel the needle go in.

Thanks

I’ve just had it this morning and never felt a thing. It was the Pfizer and had to wait for 15 minutes to make sure there was no reaction.Perhaps it’s the beginning of the end?

I know others with scleroderma in our local group that work for the NHS who have had first and second jabs with no problem.

Good luck x

Had Pfizer last week, had intense pain in jaw, weirdly the same as I get with Illoprost infusion, lasted about 12 hours, now completely fine. Arm slightly uncomfortable but only the following day.

Hello 1odth.Can add positively to below.Had my 1st Pfizer vaccine last Thursday and didn't even feel the needle go in (one advantage of skin thickening?!) no after effects apart from rolling over onto my upper left arm in bed and thinking that hurt..... realising it was a bit sore from injection site.

Good luck with yours . I have systemic systemic sclerosis too but only in my skin now as far as I can tell so far!

Hi

I don’t want to put anybody off having the vaccine. Because putting up with the side effects will far outweigh suffering with COVID .Had the pfizer vaccine Friday morning was ok all day then Friday night was terrible I was up all night being sick , shivering, sweating and aching all over .It gradually got easier this can last a few days don’t feel great 2 days later .Think these side effects are quite rare but wanted to let everyone you can feel quite ill hopefully not though. Good luck everyone

Simon 😊
