I received the result of my lip biopsy, it says the biopsy shows features consistent with sjogren's but level of inflammation is low, with a focus score of 1.2.Any ideas anyone? I just want a diagnosis and some treatment.

Not altogether sure as mine was five years ago. I have got a pic of lab results somewhere so will look but mine was 5/5 so 100% positive focus score. Lots inflammation always and I also test positive now in blood for systemic sclerosis.

I think yours means weakly positive for seronegative Sjögren’s. If you have all symptoms plus positive score then they hopefully will diagnose and would offer you Hydroxichloraquine.

Not what you're looking for?
