Could be useful to some...

I just happened across this interesting series of videos for yoga for Scleroderma. I am trying to keep my hands and body in working order by doing the exercises on the SRUK website,

spinsclero.com/ and now this yoga site.

I have found it very good and gives good information on gentle excercise.

Hope you find it helpful.

Coo. Funnily enough I was just thinking about yoga. And my total lack of floor space. I've got a basic tai chi routine which is helpful in terms of keeping moving, but is entirely on my feet - sometimes I'd like to sit down.....

Anyway, will watch the videos over the next few days. I like the idea of the one that seems to have a title for before you even get out of bed. Hope it is what I think it is - my kind of yoga.

The yoga in this is really gentle. Yoga for hands and breathing, etc. chair yoga is apparently a thing these days, too!

Thank you so much. In the past I’ve kept injuring myself with normal yoga videos and I’m afraid I’ve allowed my hands to get quite bad. I’ll get onto that now. Very useful.

I'm a newbie to all of this, but I've earmarked 'gentle yoga' as something I'll need to get into to keep supple (well, as much as poss, and I was pretty damn inflexible even before all this!)

So thank you, too, from me, for the links, I'll check them out.

I've got an old book by Lyn Marshall (I think that's her, will check) on 'Gentle Yoga' written some years ago, which I've dug out of my bookshelves. She stresses that her version is never stressful or hard on joints etc etc, and is designed to be as easy as possible and very gentle. I am only on the first few pages, but it seems good so far. I find the breathing exercise helps me to 'find my calm', and that has to be good!
