Azathioprine as preventive measure for 20 year stable lung fibrosis in SS??

I stopped immunosuppression 2001 and have no progression of my pulmonary fibrosis at all. Now my new doc wants to put me back on a low dose of azathioprine as a preventive measure, to slow down future progression. I have high titre 1:1280 but remain asymptomatic. My lung tests and TAC show no changes whatsoever. All I read contradicts this opinion. Any advice? Thank you.

Hi Grace, I am with you. With no signs of progression and no change in any of your tests I would be keeping well away from meds. I would just op for regular monitoring as per usual.

All my best
