Went to the GP today as just not doing so good, was very honest and told her that I get straight to the point and that I feel exhausted.
GP said that scleroderma does not cause tiredness and I just said okay as there clearly is lack of understanding of this condition.
Going for blood test to see what making so tired and I did said it could be the constant pain I have been in for the last three months.
Anyway got signed off for two weeks and got some strong pain killers, hopefully I can recharge my batteries and perhaps work will replace the two of my staff team that left over a year ago.

Hi Denny, so sorry to hear that you are not very well at the moment, I think you hit the nail on the head when you said GPs are not very knowledgeable about Scleroderma. I rang SRUK and asked them to send all the literature they had about it, so I could give it to the GP surgery I am registered with. Please rest up as much as you can, take care, xx
I’m sorry you’re not feeling well. Bacteria is usually the culprit when the body is feeling tired, achy joints etc. doctors are not doing appropriate tests for this. I have scleroderma and found out it was a mycoplasma infection. Our immune system is 85% our gut bacteria. You can read about this at roadback.org and also find doctors who will help get you the antibiotics you need. Also research what kind of diet to follow in order to help kill these bugs. My son has canandida which is another common problem again is just your gut bacteria getting out of balance which is happening to a lot of people these days. Have to have a strict diet no refine sugar or refine carbohydrates and more fruits, vegetables, garlic, extra virgin oil olive oil, coconut oil, green tea, probiotics and prebiotics to feed the good bacteria so it can take care of the bad. This might sound crazy to some but start doing research you’ll find better answers when you become your own health advocate than what you get from your doctors. Take care.
Here in the US Specialists have grown and are continuing to grow over-specialized. It's become so bad that no one Dr understands a thing of another's specialty. Add to it a lack of proper dr to dr communication, worsening requirements for achievement of medical degrees (here it's a matter of being graded just above failing and you've become a med school grad; the majority grades are 'C' - aka extremely mediocre. Then drug companies push their wares via "educational" materials; doctors are never trained in Human Kindness / "Bedside manner"; our society's extremely puritanical views on so-called addiction remain as a 'truth' in drs minds, which causes under prescribing / non prescribing of necessary pain meds while they hustle you into taking far more toxic meds that don't work and refuse to listen when their patient/s tell them. Opioids are, actually, non toxic relative to all alternatives thus far designed by pharmaceutical cos. The further removed any active substance is / becomes from its natural foundation, a flower in this example, the higher it's toxicity profile goes.
Anyway I veered off what I wanted to say - I left a GP I was going to for over a decade because he literally screamed over the phone at me and told me I needed a psychologist the day I called him to say my legs had given out. It was all in my head, apparently.
The next GP dropped me after a single appt; I received a letter in the mail from the Administrator if the practice in which they worked. Unethical. Borderline Malpractice. The latter phrase is one my former endocrinologist used in reaction to my then GP for not having an understanding of what are basic hormonal issues.
