Living on the sunny south coast I've been out sitting in the garden when it's warm enough, like saturday. I go brown very quickly. Apart from my fingers beyond my knuckles, so brown hands, white fingers. I don't want to do anything about it, i know it's raynauds, but it does look weird.
Suntanned fingers.: Living on the sunny... - Scleroderma & Ray...
Suntanned fingers.
Mine are just the same - I always thought it was the scleroderma. I have a definite line just below the knuckles on the backs of my hands. My legs very brown too despite them never seeing the sun.
OK TRY BLUE, WHITE, PURPLE FINGERS AND TOES I LOOK LIKE AN ALIEN. AMLODIPINE 10MG. WARM WATER SHOULD HELP EASE SYMPTOMS BUT I SCREAM BLOODY MURDER. ITS SO PAINFUL IN WATER. WEAR GLOVES OUTSIDE WHEN ITS COLD KEEP YOUR HANDS PROTECTED AND TOES. EAT LOTS OF GREENS, BERRIES. PROBIOTICS, TUMERICK AND PEPPER AND FISH OIL, NUTS, ANTI-INFLAMMATORY DIET SEE A RHEUMATOLOGIST AND PAIN DOCTOR NOW. HOPE THAT HELPS. JULIE
Mine are exactly the same! There is a perfect line across my knuckles where the tan stops. It doesn't seem like Raynauds to me. It never changes color like Raynauds. This is always pale. I figured I would ask my doctor at my next appointment. Does anyone know what this is?
I have just been to Spain. I use factor 50 suncream, wear a hat and stay in the shade when not out walking. I love walking up the beaches and promenades and refuse to give that up just because ‘it’s sunny’. But I go so brown despite all my protection - I am the most tanned of the party and they have been full on sunbathing! In fact I am perma-tanned and it’s got to be related to Scleroderma. On the plus side, my aches and joint pains feel so much better for exercise in the warmth so it’s a catch 22 situation that I don’t particularly want to change.
