Hello. First post! I am in my mid seventies and developed

crest when I was 25

My nieces have Hashimotos disease and my grandson

has cystic fibrosis. Are they connected? x

Hi - welcome to the group. It's always a good idea to let GPs know if immediate family have a serious/ongoing illness. Hopefully it will not matter, but just occasionally it can be important. GPs prefer to have you tell them then these things than assume that there is no relationship - better safe then sorry. Hope all goes well xx
