I put a post on this really helpful forum about my struggle with Hydroxychloroquine sulfate which made me vomit and have a really bad stomach to the point where I had to take frequent breaks from it to let my stomach recover and eventually gave up. People on this forum referred me to an older post discussing different brands of the drug. I checked and I was taking the Quinoric brand which other people struggled with. I decided to give the drug one more try before my next appointment with the rheumatologist who wants to stop my Kenalog steroid injections (which work a treat) and this time by chance got the brand BlackRock which I learnt is interchangeable with Plaquenil and I am getting no nasty side effects. I think Quinoric claims to be film coated but definitely isn't because it tastes strongly of acid and turns my stomach into a furnace. I don't know whether this drug will help my systemic sclerosis but at least I have the chance to find out now. Thank you guys.

Sometimes it is the mixer that makes you sick.
I take the black rock brand and have no problem swallowing etc. While on Quinoric brand I was nauseous with the absolutely vile taste every time I had to take it
