Hi, I'm new to this website. I just got diagnosed Feb 21 this year. I also have fibromyalgia and that was enough! I'm also on oxygen. I have copd but My.doctor believes it's these conditions is to why I'm on oxygen. I don't have much support or understanding. Please share what you can.

For what it's worth, adequate hydration (water intake, green tea, black tea, decaffinated) with gala apples seem to help my joint stiffness.

Thankyou for the response. ☺

Everyone seems to experience scleroderma in varying degrees but as I understand it everything tends to settle down after the first couple of years. That’s been my experience, just over 5 years now - my doctor explained that the first 5 years is a good indicator as to how the disease will progress over your lifetime. Things generally settle down - I had crippling hand pain for a year or two and now no pain at all.

Really? I just found out I had it in Feb. Scary..... I have red dors taking over my face now. It has taken some of my lips already too! I hope it calms down

Having said that, if you’re feeling stiff and struggling to move you need to ask for physio help to keep your joints moving etc - maybe worth asking your doctor?
