Ive thought about acupuncture too. I have diffuse systemic sclerosis and suffer with back pain, joint pain and painful hands and feet.
Can't think it would hurt to try it ☺ but wonder how much it would cost.

I had regular acupuncture beore I got my diagnosis of diffuse systemic sclerosis. It did not help with reducing skin tightness but certainly helped with painful joints. My main problem was discomfort with getting the needles through my thick tight skin. I was lucjy because my acupuncturist was a chinese doctor who was trained in traditional and western medicine. She also used other treatments of massage, cupping and moxibustion which I think really helped me. I think I was really lucky to live close to an expert in acupuncture. Definitely worth a try!
Thanks I think I'm ok with needles. ☺ do they only go under the skin? Alice I also have very thick skin.
Naila let me know how you go on at your review. I dont see anyone until January but will ask about acupuncture myself. Xx
The needles do not hurt at all usually, but my experience has been with ordinary skin as am at the early stages of this. It's very relaxing and rebalancing in some non injurious magical way...good luck getting it prescribed!
