Burning Pain.

Good morning you lovely people .Does anybody out there have burning pain ? every morning when I wake my thigh is burning so much so it feels like I have a blow torch on it . ... ouch ! this has been happening for the past two weeks , on lots of med. but nothing new.😯

Hi Gill, Burning pain is usually associated with your nerves...thigh pain is typical of Sciatica where the main sciatic nerve can become irritated in your lower back or hip joint and refers pain down the leg, into the thigh and often right down to the big toe. Do you have a history of arthritis in your back or hip? Have you done anything recently that might irritate either? I would always suggest that any new symptoms that are different from your normal and last longer than a week should be checked out by your GP. I hope that it settles soon. I am sure it is awful for you and you want shot of it quickly. All my best

Thank you Lucy . I have no history of sciatica or arthritis , the pain goes from my groin down to my knee, I have difficulty now to cross my leg, the pain does go once I'm up & about . No injury to cause it. Thank you again X

Any chance it could be hip bursitis? It can cause this type of pain.

Hi GillSuffolk

This is all quite new to me . I have Raynaud's and Crest . Its all been diagnosed in this last year . I have started to get the burning pain on a night in my upper back and going all the way down the back of leg . Seems to feel like its on the tendon or muscle . It feels like some body as rubbed Deep Heat or Something Hotter in these places . I'm unsure what it is but I will let you know if I get any answers
