I lost over 40 lbs this year and was when I first noticed raynaurds . Iv been taking contraception pill and gaining weight and it looks better already I'm wondering does weight /hormones come into play? Anyone else notice any connections . Maybe it's just circulation and not actual disease confused ?

I am, and have always been, slim and I've had Raynauds since I was 8 years old.
I have had raynauds and scleroderma since being a child. Docs thought it might improve after puberty but it didn't. However since going through the menopause it has improved. weight wise when i am thin (I lost 5 stone) it was worse but the scleroderma symptons were much better. I have now put on 6 stone due to HRT and the raynauds is better but scleroderma worse. So I think it is definitely related
