New to all this

Hi there, My mum has been diagnosed with systemic sclerosis and has recently moved to Taunton to be nearer family. Are there any local support groups or meet ups in this area? Many thanks.

I to have systemic sclerosis along with PH, Raynauds and Lupus!!! I also live near Taunton (11miles away). As far as I am aware there are no nearby support groups. As most of my medical conditions are dealt with by Bath hospital and The Royal Free in London, I do not attend the local hospital very often. But having said that I am on a Pulmonary Rehab course at the moment at Musgrove Park Hospital twice a week until December. Maybe someone should think of starting a support group??? I am sure your Mum will feel happier just being near family. If she's ever in need of a chat PM me.
