Does anyone who has scleroderma and raynauds, suffer with tenosynovitis and tennis elbow as well?

Tenosynovitis and tennis elbow
Yes I too have scleroderma (limited systemic form) and have tennis elbow in one arm. Seeing Rheumatologist next month and will ask his views
Hi Tia,
I have Limited SSCL and Raynauds, and was diagnosed about five/six years ago now, after a sudden onset of Raynauds, depression and fatigue.
I have suffered with what used to be called RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) for almost thirty years, which initially flared when I joined a call centre and was using a keyboard. I was only 18/19 at the time, and it was a big shock to be diagnosed at the time, as it was relatively unheard of at the time.
Over the years I have had my wrists rested (as this is where I experience the pain) by being plastered up for six weeks (that was a surprise !!), and by using what I call working splints. They are strong elastic wrist supports that have a metal plate through them, that holds my wrist steady in one position, allowing the ligaments and tendons to rest even though I'm still active.
I did suffer terribly in my mid-twenties with it, and struggled to even hold a knife and fork at one point (which was horrendous), and found cereal and soup my only food options for a time.
The weird thing is that now I hardly ever get troubled with it - though the provision of a split keyboard and my awareness of my working position has I'm sure had a positive impact on my symptoms.
I am still conscious when I push doors open I need to be careful, as this was one of the major triggers (due to the impact you put on your wrist when you push a door open I guess)
I suspect the pain killers I now have on a daily basis probably overshadow any small issues and flares I get from it these days.
