Hi- is anyone suffering with cold feet in bed in this hot weather? Last night I was soaked with sweat in bed, but my feet were cold; I just couldn't sleep. Eventually I had to get up to make a hot water bottle and only nodded off once my feet had got warm on it. It's really strange.

Cold feet in hot weather
Yes! The clue's in the name! At night I currently wear thick socks on my feet and we have reduced the duvet to just one thin cover, and that combination seems to work. I have just bought some Skunkxs (electrically heated shoes) and have been wearing these during the day even in this hot spell - very pleased with these so far but haven't yet had the chance to test them in colder weather.
Yes indeed. This is typical of Raynaud's. After being very cold my feet can become very, very hot and uncomfortable which means I then need a fan to cool them down.
I am always hot and cold at the same time. It's very difficult to manage these symptoms. I know how you feel. You are not alone.
Best wishes.

Yes! Even in hot weather I often need to wear bed socks & leg warmers.....incredible.....but my raynauds is simultaneous with erythromelalgia, so I can have parts of my lower limbs, hands & face freezing & burning at the same time...complicated to manage...
Yes I always have cold feet which if I do not use an electrically heated pad in bed (even in this weather) to warm them up I cannot sleep.
Yes I have cold feet even when it is hot. I wear bedsocks. I have just had a recent spell in hospital and the docs stopped my nifidipine because when they gave it to me my bp went down to 60. I was cold all the week that I was in hospital. Other patients just had a sheet but I had 4 blankets one day. I just couldn't get warm
