fractures in spine

I have had XR s recently which showed lumbar and thoracic wedge fractures in my spine. i have been complaining for about three years of severe pain . the doctors were treating me for bowel and kidney infections and taken into hospital to be treated , why oh why do they not listen .has anyone experienced the same .i have a DEXA scan next week to get a base for them to work from please help i am very frustrated best wishes to all Lyn
