Scleroderma and Gall Bladder Disease

Okay....been fighitng intestinal motility problem! Put on reglan only to end up with tremors. Now back in the hospital with Gall Bladder disease but docs saying can not take out as I have no insurance and it is elective surgery! Anyone experience Gall Bladder problems with having Scleroderma and what did you do about NO INSURANCE and needing Gall Bladder OUT!?!?!?!?

I didn't think that there was a relation between schleroderma and gall bladder disease. Sorry about your insurance. I hope that situation will never happen in the UK.

Scleroderma can get into any part of the body, as far as I'm aware. It's about thickening of skin tissue, so it's not selective over what tissue. I can only suggest to ' Anitamoore forjesus ', that you're careful of what you eat . Try to avoid fatty foods, esp. fried stuffs, also chocolate I found was an irritant,(although I do succumb occasionally).Good Luck!

A friend of mine with scleroderma used reglan and ended up with Parkinson's disease (shaking tremors and could not hold up her head anymore). "The dr. said it was a side effect of the drug. I don't think that risk is worth taking it; I went off the reglan. I'm sorry I cannot help you about the insurance problem. Can you go on Medicaid?
