Any book recommendations?

Open multiple times that reading before bed can I help you say but I do not have many books in my possession. I would like to ask you guys for some recommendations for books. It doesn’t have to be sleep related books, although that would be interesting as well. I will read pretty much anything. Thank you in advance! (✿ヘᴥヘ)

Hello Lycholko, could I suggest you join your local library? This would give you an untold number of books on all sorts of subjects without spending a fortune. How your local library is during Covid you would have to enquire but I know most are loaning audio books, I find these are good for putting me to sleep. Good luck

I do have a library in my town but they do not have much of a selection. It is a little hole in the wall building. Two years ago they were devastated by flood and destroyed most of the books :(

It depends what topics you enjoy, I can recommend my most recent purchases but I have specific taste of factual information books, science, and people exposing cover ups.

I can recommend Plague, and Plague of Corruption co written by Judy Mikovits and Kent Heckenlively, The Biology of Belief by Dr Bruce Lipton, Behind the Green Mask by Rosa Koire, and The Answer by David Icke. Hope you find something enjoyable to read ☺

My therapist told me to read the most boring books ever so maybe if you know many boring books that would be great! :)

I am currently reading "Live like a Monk by Jay Shetty, " it is actually my first audiobook and a brilliant choice I believe as the author reads it and he really is a witty 33 year old, you can check him out on you tube.

There’s a lot of poetic description in Benjamin Myers “The Offing” It’s only 260 pages but it’s very well written . It’s not boring but it contains no violence sex horror or drama. It’s about a young mans visit to Robin Hoods Bay on the coast in Yorkshire set in post war England and his friendship with an elderly lady in a run down cottage .

The book is highly rated and worth more than one read.

Also If your library has audio books they are great for moving your mind away from chatter and overthinking.( or use audible on Amazon )

HG Wells The History of Mr Polly and Sue Townsends Aidrian Mole books are good for sleep especially after the first read.

Another book I’ve fell asleep to many times is Diary of a Bookseller by Shaun Byfell.

Re reading books a couple of times helps as the excitement level is reduced . That’s not a waste of time because you get to know and appreciate a book even more.

Best Wishes.
