Insomnia hurts

Hi. New here. I have bad sleep habits. I want to/need to set a nightly routine for sleep. Perhaps I can do it one habit at a time. First: What time is lights out? I resolve to turn all bedroom lights out by eleven at night. I will check my progress daily and review in seven days before I add to my sleep routine. This sounds so easy but is so hard for me. I suffer in the day from lack of sleep. This is a baby step, but hopefully I will follow through this time

Hi misslillie. It is so hard to change habits so 1 at a time sounds like a good plan. I decided to stop looking at screens from 11pm and it definitely helps.

Taking one baby step at a time ... what a great idea.

I am rooting for you misslillie. Best of luck. I reccommend preparing for lights out, like 30 mins prior to 11 PM, some meditation, breathing techniques etc. to wind down from screen exposure, so that when you hit the bed at lights-out you are ready.

Great idea. Thats where I will start. No screens after eleven at night.
