Two things I have found that way help you 1 take a 5mg melatonin pill around 7:30pm and 2 mindfulness meditation to help quit the mind. Also there are a ton of sleep apps you and download for free which you can experiment with. YouTube has a lot of sleep music I have listen to some of them before. Some work and others were not that relaxing you just need to find which ones are soothing to you. Then there is the sleep hygiene of having a cool dark room. Doing relaxing activities such as reading or listening to relaxing music, knitting 🧶 crossword puzzles 🧩 or something that you find relaxing to do before going to bed. Don’t eat a heavy meal before going to bed a light snack around 2hrs before going to bed. 🤔Oh I went past my 2 things. I hope some of this works for you.

Sounds like you need to see a gastroenterologist. Back in 98-00 I got really sick and couldn’t eat nothing but bland foods. I was going between doctors, gastroenterologists and the ER looking for help. I lost 25lbs. I finally found a new gastroenterologist who said we just need to find a fresh pair of eyes 👀 so when he did the endoscopy he saw what the other doctor didn’t see, stomach tissue in the bottom of my esophagus excreting stomach acid which was the cause of the burning nausea pain I was having. He prescribed protonix which allowed me to eat again. I want to encourage you to be persistent. If one doctor isn’t helping you fire him and go to another and another until you find one who will get to the bottom of your health problems and get you on the right treatment. I know it is hard going through all this pain and suffering. Don’t give up keep fighting. Do you have Crohn’s or ulcerative colitis? All the diarrhea makes me think 🤔 that could be a culprit.

Oh I am on ambien too. I don’t take it that often but I never had a problem with it. I even took 2 one time because the 1st one didn’t do anything so I took another one an hour later because I was still wide awake. I have a high tolerance to a lot of medications which I got that from my dad. The weird thing is my identical twin sister who has a low tolerance to medications. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I can relate, I average 6 am going to sleep. I feel like crap

If you have insurance? Get a referral for a sleep specialist. I know I have sleep apnea, I will see a specialist when I get Medicare, it will be less expensive.
