Hi,

Have recently been diagnosed with Obtructive Sleep Apena. I have a group trial of CPAP in a few weeks at my local hospital.

I am quite apprehensive. Anyone have an tips, what if you want to buy your own machine?

Also have surgery in a months time and have been told I must bring the CPAP machine with me if I have been given it by then. Anyone have experience of using in hospital?

Does anyone have a co existing illness like Fibromyalgia?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

I have S A as well,I was born with it, I get on well with the CPAP machine and have used it in hospital, no problem. As to buying your own ,I suppose there will be no objections as it will save the NHS money, but they are very expensive. Good luck.
