Need a Cpep machine
I have had a CPAP machine for 27 years, you should not have a worries regarding the CPAP. If you follow advice you will think you have just got a new life.
CPAP is the gold standard for severe sleep apnea. There are really 2 different types: a single positive pressure device and a bi-level one that provides pressure breathing in an out. If your apnea is not severe you can use nasal dilators (nasal strips or in the nose device.) Consider the book Life Saving Sleep by Barry Krakow. His advice to use nasal strips at night has eliminated my nocturia (excessive nighttime urination) on night one! Basically it's your body experiencing apnea and the heart telling the kidneys "we're choking here, must be excess fluid - create more urine!" The same thing will happen with the CPAP use.
