Chronic abdominal pain turning me into a crazy woman

Hi all had Sjogrens for 6 years for the last two years been struggling with lower left abdominal pain. Doctors told me it’s possible that it’s IBS but I don’t have constipation or diarrhoea and pain is still there after taking mebeverine and countless over the counter medication Have had mri ct scans and every other test with no diagnosis Along with this pain which feels like something is being pinched I now have chronic hip back and upper thigh muscle pain. My elbows ache and seem to be getting all sorts or random odd sensation in my legs. Going through menopause so don’t know if this has anything to do with my strange symptoms

maybe ask for a SIBO breath test to see if you have an infection; this can be treated by strong antibiotics or natural methodsI frequently suffer in the same way, particularly if I get over tired or stressed

if you can, change to a fodmaps diet and avoid drinking during mealtimes as this hampers digestion

these pains can be very stressful, and at times I did worry about cancer but I am increasingly inclined to think that it is the dryness of the intestine and lack of proper digestive juices which is the source of the problem

i have cut out sugar, alcohol, coffee and gluten and it really does help; it's a bit miserable but worth it fi it improves your quality of life

Thanks for your advice. Had a phone call appointment with female doctor on Monday and she has prescribed me pain relief after speaking to two other doctors who refused to give me anything. I have burtistis in both hips which was diagnosed back in July 2021which I have had no treatment for but I feel that there is something else going on. Pelvic congestion springs to mind? Any thoughts?

can you ask for an mri scan??i live in france and this is the first thing they would do but if you are in the UK, this may be very difficult

the bursitis is odd; can you see a rheumatologist?

Had mri and ct scan in early part of 2021 and nothing else was found apart from bursitis in both hips. I am under a rheumatologist and have been since 2015 when I was first diagnosed with Sjogrens. He questioned why I have not had steroid injections in my hips? The pain in lower abdomen is more of an issue for me. Unless the problems in my hips refers pain to what seems like every part of my lower abdomen?! Feels like pressure and have pain in upper inner thighs and sometimes my private parts ache so list goes on !

That does sound very uncomfortable. I have many of those symptoms as well. I assume that you're upping your water and fiber intake. For the random pains I'm taking amino acid supplements, L-Carnitine, etc. They seem to help and to reduce those weird sensations.
