Sickle Cell and Lupus

I've been seeing hematologists for many years for Sickle beta thalassemia. I was recently referred to a neurologist for migraines. After complaining to the neurologist about chronic pain on one side of my body (which the hematologists didn't give me an answer for) the neurologist ordered a lot of blood work, and now thinks I have Lupus, as well. Does anyone else have both?

Unfortunately there’s nothing to stop you from having both but most likely you are have complications is sickle beta and it’s likely affecting your kidneys and your head
