Sickle Cell Trait and menstrual cycle

For years I suffered from fainting and blackouts right before or during my periods. I recently met another woman who had a similar experience and she mentioned that it was because she has the sickle cell trait. I am wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

As a young lady I had some dizziness during my period but was told it was because I have Anemia.

Thanks for your reply. How do you manage this?

I had a Uterine Ablation to stop my periods to help with the Anemia.

This was done instead of a hysterectomy. It's less invasive. You have to do your research though.

It's been 2 years and no period
