I have sickle cell beta thalasemia trait. Does that mean i’m a carrier for both diseases?
I do get pain crisis often but i’ve only had about 2-4 rlly painful ones.

The Sickle Cell Society who run this forum are based in the UK and so am I so I can only give you UK based information about getting help.
And yes you are a carrier for both. So anyone you plan to have children with should be screened for all haemoglobin disorders BEFORE you even think of having a child.
However more importantly you need to get treated when you have bad crisis, and should be under continual out-patient medical care.
