Does anybody have the Sickle Cell Trait and have a crisis

Yes i had a crisis when i was 7 and it was the worse, the fluids in my body got trapped in my joints and it was extremely painful.

My legs cramp up, abdominal pain. Too scared to go to the doctor. It's hard to walk sometimes

I have sick cell trait but combined with my other condition I don't know enough about it to know what symptoms are caused by it..

I have sickle cell trait. I am 54 yrs old. i have never had a crisis, however, i used to have really bad periods and sometimes, after physical exertion (such as running) I would get a sharp cramp under my left breast that would last for a couple of minutes then it would go away. My endurance when engaged in physical activity (sports) was not long. As a kid, I could play for long periods of time, but after i reached my late teens, my endurance got a little shorter. I stayed pretty active until my late twenties - early thirties. Now, i don't have much endurance at all.
