Prior to having my children, the key question I asked of potential long term partners was " do you have sickle disease or Sickle trait?".  As an individual with the full blown disease, it was so important to me that my children didn't  get the disease.  I would be fuming if they had lied about something so important. Whether i'd go as far as dissolving the marriage I cannot really say.  But I do know, I wouldn't have anymore children with him and i'm guessing all trust would be gone.

Either way, every time my child had a crisis, I would expect him to be by their side, so he could witness the pain and suffering which he knowingly caused and he could see the gravity of his deceit.
