Great Help for Itching following treatment

An FYI: Hi. I have had terrible bouts of itching since my treatments. My doc recommended SARNA, which is available over the counter. It is a miracle!!!

I have used it twice, and each time, within a few minutes the itching has stopped.

I had horrible itchy feet during chemo. I found that compression socks totally got rid of it.

It ha 0.5% Camphor, 0.5% Menthol--I hope you can find it, because it really has been a lifesaver for me.

Hmm that's a thought. I have neuropathy (numbness and tingling) of one foot, and wear a tight sock for that, but that foot doesn't itch, lol. Thanks for the idea.

You know if this disease wasn’t so awful it would be quite funny. What we put up with is amazing and we still find time to laugh ( often through tears) to give advice and kind words to others and worry about our families more than ourselves. I find myself pondering this very often. 🙄☹️😂😫😥

You are so right! The changes wreaked on our bodies from the treatment are countless, and we just try to figure out a way to cope with each one. When people ask me how I feel, I say fine, and then the list of changes to my body runs through my head, and I think, no keep that to yourself-people just won't understand :) . I love this particular site, because we are problem solvers, not just people who want to feel sorry for ourselves :)

My chemo ended May 27, 2020. First my back itched and I could feel small bumps. This was about 2 months ago and if I don't put CereVu anti-itch cream on, the itching comes back. My oncologist said it was unlikely to be related to the chemo so far out from the last infusion. The bumps and itching spread to my scalp, upper arms, into my buttock area and across my chest and jawline. Now it's primarily affecting my back, arms, and chest. How soon after chemo did your itching start? And if you stop the Sarna does the itching come back? I don't see my dermatologist until early November, but I have my first 3 month follow up since ending chemo with my oncologist on September 16.
