Pet Scan

Has anyone had a Pet Scan. What are they like. What we're results.

It is very similar to Catscan. May have to drink a contrast solution and then they inject a dye to see were cancer is or not. Takes less than 30 minutes for scan. You just lay there and they will tell you to take a deep breath and hold for a few seconds while they scan.

Please let me know how you did. We are all in this monster together. Afraid of what my result will be. I was in remission but now numbers are going up.

My tests showed some improvement on the liver,maybe scar tissue,but they are not sure. I was in remission twice then it showed up again.Finished last chemo 2 weeks ago,now started on Zujela. Will see how this works. I have stage3c ovarian cancer. Been dealing with this for 5 years now. Waiting for test results is nerve wracking,but keep on smiling and be positive. Hope all goes well. Keep me posted.
