New member with ovarian cancer

Hello , I was diagnose with stage III C ovarian cancer at the end of Dec. 2017. Totally shocked thought I had a stomach bug. One more chemo treatment which is going pretty well the surgery . Hoping and praying this works , God Bless

Glad you found this site. Let us know how you are doing. It's always nice to "talk" with others who have "been there". Just briefly, I'm a 12 year survivor of Stage IIIC. I had one recurrence, but have been NED since Nov 2008.

Hi Faith, Sorry to hear that you had to join our club. You are strong and we are even stronger with each other's support. Just do one day at a time, that's all anyone has. I have 3c high grade serous ovarian cancer. I thought I had irritable bowel syndrome. I was so mad that I didn't know the signs of ovarian cancer. Good luck with your surgery. Best of luck Faith. I am stage IIIC serous. On my 2nd recurrence. Best advice I can give you.....appreciate everyday. You will get through this. Keep your head high.

Faith1962, I was diagnosed with stage 3c clear cell ovarian cancer in April 2014, I had surgery Immediately to remove a two lb mass, with partial debulking. Then 4 weeks later after mass returned cancer, another surgery to remove 25 lymph nodes. Two showed cancer. Then did chem IV, and IP chemo, stomach wash 18 rounds I. 14 weeks. Then ended up with 5 hernias and surgery again. Through all that and I am blessed I've been cancer free since. Stay positive and fight, fight, fight! Best wishes.
