Frequent infections, rising CRP, and constant fever for several months

Frequent infections, rising CRP, and constant fever for several months. This is about my mom. She has metastasis in the liver and bones, and is on IV vinorelbine, which often gets interrupted because of the issues mentioned. Usually, no infection is confirmed, but she’s treated with various antibiotics that lower the CRP, although it rises again. Has anyone encountered this or found a way to cure this condition?

She might want to look into the targeted drug Truqap.. I have liver and bone mets and things are getting a little better since I got onto Truqap.

Thank you! It is not available here, like many others, or it is limited to earlier lines. My mom doesn’t have any mutations either. Right now, she is hospitalized due to a urinary infection and is receiving a strong antibiotic. I’m afraid it might be resistant. Unfortunately, there aren’t many options besides chemotherapy.
