I know I posted earlier about the Pink Eraser Project, but have any of you seen the new cancer vaccine trial that are doing in the UK? It's a three year trial for all kinds of cancers. I believe the vaccine was produced in Germany. So much hope if we can hold on...

unfortunately I do not think we will be eligible for the trials. They aim to stop cancer returning following initial treatment. Secondary cancers will eventually become a thing of the past if the vaccine is successful but we may have missed the boat. Also they are targeting bowel cancer first. Stage four definitely needs more, we are the ones noone wants to talk about or see as the initial treatment failed!

I think I've had remarkable treatment for my secondary cancer. I feel very lucky four years into treatment!

I have metastatic breast cancer, I think this group is for those with MBC. I was clear for 26 years before it returned.

There are many different countries working on cancer vaccines including metastatic breast cancer. I am hoping to stay alive long enough to keep up with the science. I am normally a pretty cynical person, but I see a lot of reason for hope. Scientists all over the world are working on various vaccines and as far as I know, the ones that have been tried have mostly been successful.

Given the international effort to find vaccines to cure cancer and the Moonshot program here in the USA, there is every reason to live with hope. If we put a man on the moon surely we can cure metastatic cancer ! Love the Pink Eraser Project and their All Star Oncologist team ❤️. I plan to put myself in every cutting edge trial I qualify for so I can keep hanging on. 🏄‍♀️

51 vaccine trials for breast cancer in the US alone.

while most vaccines aim to prevent illness, cancer vaccines are created to work against the spread of cancer cells…whether original or metastatic. I hope that this is true and together with targeted treatments, vaccines will make stage IV a thing of the past.
