Intermittent Fasting follow-up

Thanks everyone for your responses. I researched all of your responses and tips and links and have decided to go for it. I am going to do 16 hours of fasting and an 8 hour window of normal eating, which for me is very healthy. Eating from 11am - 7pm. I don’t need to lose weight but I do need to tone up - so I am adding 60 minutes if exercise into that schedule. I am looking forward to being my own lab rat 🤣 everything I have read has been very positive.

Sounds like an awesome plan. Keep us posted on how you are doing. I play golf and exercise pretty much every day. It helps me stay fit and keeps my bones and muscles stronger and less painful. I have found some great exercise videos on You Tube on my television. Some are by Leslie Sansone and others are by a woman called Gina B. They are low impact and fun. If you like to dance, Gina B's videos are maybe similar to Zumba classes with songs you would recognize. Best wishes to you. Sending hugs and prayers.

Greetings Sister, and yesss Warrior😇I am happy to hear you are starting the New Year with Health, & Wellness as a priority in your life.🙂 I do intermittent fasting with a 12-14 hour window. I also workout using interval training, with , weight training, and full body Yoga, and Pilate stretches .Start slow. I do take an aspirin 15 minutes before I work out, especially when I add a new, or weight training exercise to my routine. I drink a protein/collagen smoothie before my workouts to build muscle, and to help alleviate any possible pain after exercise recovery.😇 Yesss I happily claim the fact that I am a health nut. I am highly motivated to do everything I can to keep the temple GOD gave me in tip top shape and to ward off anything that would be detrimental t my health. Have a Happy, and Healthy 2024 New Year🚴🏋️⛹️‍♂️🙂

It took my husband about 2-3 weeks to get lined out on the same schedule. We eat fairly clean. From our discussion it was mental for him. Around 6 - 6:30pm he would eat again or have another shake even when not hungry to make sure he got everything out of his "feeding zone". Now that he has it worked out he said it is not as bad as one might think. A lot of good things about intermittent fasting, even a 3 or 7 day fast. At this point in my journey I'm not sure I could do it. Best of luck!
