justme153, I'm on ibrance not verzenio but my oncologist says I can have a glass of wine or cocktail once in a while so I think you are fine to enjoy a glass of wine or two at a holiday party .

Hi Justme153. I took another CDK 4/6 inhibitor (Ibrance) for 5 years and my oncologist always said that it was fine to enjoy wine which I did with no issues whatsoever. Enjoy your special holiday cocktails without worry. Take care.

hello Justme….i was on IBrance for 37 months and during that time I quit drinking for about 6 months hoping to improve my blood numbers since alcohol impacts bone/marrow production of red blood cells . I can tell you I felt prett good without any alcohol for about 7 months. I drank non-alcoholic beer to feel social with my golf group….and then I slowly added a glass of wine or a cocktail on special occasions. No big impact on health or blood numbers. Now that I was undergoing radiation I shunned it completely for about 3 weeks …and have started again with the occasional glass of wine or a cocktail.

So, you, unless you are experiencing really low blood numbers, you can enjoy your wine…life is short (🥴) but don’t shorten your enjoyment.🙏🙌💖

Hi Justme, I am on palbo/ibrance. I generally don't drink, (even before my diagnosis) but have the very occasional half glass or so of prosecco at celebrations now.. Seems to have no negative impact. I am 59. Best K

everything is good in moderation, so occasional glass of your favorite holiday libation will not hurt unless you have any liver issues (seen on you blood work or scan). There is no contraindication with alcohol, so enjoy and happy holidays!

I've never been a drinker, but it has not occurred to me to forgo the occasional glass of wine because I'm on 600 mg. Kisqali with letrozole. I'm into my fifth year of metastatic breast cancer. I'm old (78 years) but seem to be doing well on my current regieme.
